I hate it when a toilet doesn't flush correctly. I changed everything out on this repair. Two things that are a little special on the mechanics of this toilet. One - I upgraded the flush handle with a spring inside it. It was about an extra 15 dollars but what a difference in getting things flowing and getting the whole thing to flush correctly. And two - I upgraded the tank valve with a quite fill valve. This toilet is in a hall bathroom, very close to the living room, so to avoid a distraction of water filling the tank, an extra 10 bucks made it quite. ( Also nice at nighttime to not wake other people from flushing)
This is not a typical home style setup for internet, but I still wanted to share.
You will see data racks like this at businesses, casinos, etc. 20 years ago racks where not installed with this kind of attention to wire management. It takes time and patience and once done its a work of art.
The side of this house was dark, so I added some light. I tapped into the power outlet on the other side of the wall. The vent next to the light goes to the microwave in the kitchen on the other side of the wall.
Installed a new garbage disposal along with all new pipes under the sink.
Once a year at least doing some AC maintenance will hopefully keep your AC running longer. I cant do everything to fix an AC, but I can do some minor repairs and cleaning. On this AC, I changed out the Capacitor, and outside Breaker. Both parts were still working, but showed signs of wear and tear. And to keep things running and to avoid a more costly repair it was logical to replace these two parts. The pictures of the AC board is on the unit in the attic. From the looks of the dirt buildup, I don't think the board has ever been cleaned. The number killer of computer parts is dust and dirt. The buildup of dust causes heat to not dissipate correctly, causing overheating and board failure, or in other words a much more costly repair.
Cleaning the coils is also important.
More to come....
